OCTA Offers Its Members
- A play festival in the even-numbered years
- Workshops, on site, on a variety of subjects involving production skills, performance skills, and management
- A program of financial assistance through initiative and consultant residency grants for member theatres
- A monthly email newsletter, "Update"
- A membership directory
- An e-mail broadcast of performances, auditions, etc. to more than 300 individuals statewide
- A library of 1,700+ scripts and numerous management and technical resources

OCTA serves its members:
- As a representative on the board of state, regional, and national theatre and cultural organizations
- As a voice of advocacy for theatre arts and arts in education
- As an umbrella for funding opportunities
- As a consultant and advisor on production, management, marketing, and funding subjects

OCTA receives assistance from the Oklahoma Arts Council annually and OCTA's Executive Director serves as an adjunct member of the Arts Council staff.
Tax-deductible contributions can be made to the Oklahoma Community Theatre Association's designated fund in the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Interest earned on contributed funds designated in memory of Lil Williams is presented as a travel stipend to competing theatres in OCTA's play festivals.
