increase our endowment funds at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Through our participation in the John Kirkpatrick Centennial Endowment Challenge any individual gifts made to our
endowment funds through the end of the year will be matched dollar-for-dollar
up to $5,000 for a possible total fund increase of $10,000.
·
Donations
must be made between February
1, 2008 and December
31, 2008.
·
Contribution
may be in cash, marketable securities or other assets which may be converted to
cash.
·
Eligible
contribution must come from individuals, foundations or corporations unrelated
to the beneficiary organization. (Donations from OCTA itself will not be
matched, so please do not make your contribution to OCTA.) They must be sent to OCCF directly,
specifying that they are made to one of the OCTA endowment funds described
below.
·

balances. Matches completed after June

following the Challenge deadline.

Festival Fund.
OCTA ENDOWMENT
The interest from this Fund helps
provide a healthy financial status for OCTA operations. In 1986, the Board of Directors and President
Mary Patterson determined that it was in the best interest of our organization
to set up a permanent endowment fund.
The principle remains in the OCCF, but interest is provided annually.
LIL WILLIAMS FESTIVAL FUND
The interest from this fund is
divided among the theatres participating in OCTAFest,
to help offset expenses of their participation. It was established in 2000 to honor an OCTA
Founder, Lil Williams of Ardmore, an avid supporter of OCTAFest.
